The fifth speech unit in a series of six teaches about poise, nervousness, self-control, and relaxation. This half credit high school speech course teaches students the proper methods and elements of writing and delivering a presentation as well as how to evaluate a speech for effectiveness.
Throughout the six Speech Paces your student will:
Understand the importance of proper breathing techniques, adding variety through inflection, speaking with emotion and enthusiasm, improving eye contact, and learning to articulate sounds properly.

Apply the concepts of effective speaking through the presentation of speeches.
