Description
Exploring Creation with Advanced Biology: The Human Body, 2nd Edition, is a college-prep course that provides an advanced study of the human body’s 11 organ systems. This 2nd Edition has updated discussions and photographs, as well as new content. If a student completes the entire course, including documenting in a lab notebook all of the labs, experiments, and dissections, it can be counted as an honors course.
This study will introduce the organizational levels of the human body from a single cell to the 11 major organ systems:
- Skeletal
- Nervous
- Circulatory
- Respiratory
- Digestive
- Muscular
- Integumentary
- Lymphatic
- Urinary
- Endocrine
- Reproductive
The softcover student textbook contains all student material, study questions, laboratory exercises, and module study guides with color photos and illustrations. The second edition of our Human Body course includes the following enhanced features:
- High-quality color illustrations
- More in-depth discussions and explanations of concepts
- Online resources that explore concepts in more detail
- Greater emphasis on connecting creation to the Creator
The Solutions and Tests Manual only for Exploring Creation with Advanced Biology, 2nd Edition, contains answers to Study Guide questions, module summaries, tests, and test solutions.
Special Notes:
- Prerequisites: Biology & Chemistry
- Recommended Grade: 12
This is a very in-depth program which teaches Anatomy and Physiology at an Honors level. The notebook is an excellent addition, as it allows students to engage in color-coding every detail and further mastering the content. My student who took it, ended up testing out of her college anatomy 1 course when she went into radiology, because she had mastered so much of that information through Apologia Advanced Biology!
